| Step-By-Step Application Submission Protocol |
Phase 1: Registration & Account Creation
- Navigate to the unified official portal: rrbapply.gov.in.
- Click on "Apply" and select "Create an Account". (If you already hold validated login credentials from past 2025/2026 RRB notifications, you must use your existing profile log-in directly).
- Enter foundational markers: Full Name, Father's Name, Date of Birth, active Email Address, and Mobile Number.
- Identity Authentication Check: Complete Aadhaar Verification using biometric OTP configurations. (Applicants opting out or using alternate photo IDs face rigorous manual identity checks down the line).
- Generate your secure transactional login password and verify via mobile/email OTP parameters.
Phase 2: Core Form Entry & Regional Mapping
- Log into your account page using your verified mobile links/email ID and password.
- Select the active employment link designated for CEN 05/2025 (JE/DMS/CMA).
- Choose Your RRB Zone: Exercise absolute care here; candidates can apply to ONLY ONE RRB zone. Submission of duplicate forms across different boards or the same board triggers automatic cancellation of all applications.
- Provide academic backgrounds (Diploma or Degree tracks) and set preferential choices for trade group selections.
Phase 3: Digital Scan Upload Requirements
Strict Document Formatting Rules:
• Passport Photograph: Recent color image shot against a crisp plain white background (JPEG format, 35mm x 45mm, size between 30KB–70KB). No sunglasses or caps allowed.
• Signature: Running hand script signed cleanly using black/blue ink on white paper (JPEG format, size 30KB–70KB). Block letter signatures are summarily rejected.
• Caste Certificate (SC/ST Only): Clear scanned copy of official community certificates to qualify for concessional fee refunds and free travel passes (PDF format, size 50KB–300KB).
Phase 4: Fee Payment & Modification Window Protocol
- Process payment structures (₹500 / ₹250) online via secure gateways. Save the electronic receipt.
- Verify all application details on the final preview display pane, hit "Submit", and download your printable confirmation archive.
- Modification Rule Clause: In case of accidental input errors, data can be revised by paying a non-refundable correction fee of ₹250 during the modification window. Crucial constraint: Core registration details established in "Create an Account" (e.g., Name, Mobile, Email) and your "Chosen RRB Zone" are entirely locked and cannot be changed.
