RRB ALP Notification CEN 01/2025 : Age Limit as on 01/07/2025

• Minimum Age : 18 Years
• Maximum Age : 30 Years (For UR / EWS)
• Age Relaxation Extra as per Railway Recruitment Board Assistant Loco Pilot Exam Rules.

• Matriculation / SSLC plus ITI from recognised institutions of NCVT/SCVT in the trades of Fitter, Electrician, Instrument Mechanic, Millwright/Maintenance Mechanic, Mechanic (Radio & TV), Electronics Mechanic, Mechanic (Motor Vehicle), Wireman, Tractor Mechanic, Armature & Coil Winder, Mechanic (Diesel), Heat Engine, Turner, Machinist, Refrigeration & Air- Conditioning Mechanic.(OR)
• Matriculation / SSLC plus Course Completed Act Apprenticeship in the trades mentioned above.
• Matriculation / SSLC plus three years Diploma in Mechanical / Electrical / Electronics / Automobile Engineering (OR) combination of various streams of these Engineering disciplines from a recognised Institution in lieu of ITI.
• Degree in the Engineering disciplines as above will also be acceptable in lieu of Diploma in Engineering.

1. Stage I: First Stage CBT (CBT-1): Screening test to shortlist candidates for the second stage based on merit.
2. Stage II: Second Stage CBT (CBT-2) & CBAT: CBT-2 contains Part A (Merit deciding) and Part B (Qualifying trade test), followed by a Computer Based Aptitude Test (CBAT).
3. Final Selection: Prepared strictly on merit based on 70% weightage of CBT-2 Part A score and 30% weightage of CBAT score followed by Document Verification & Medical Exam.

• Negative Marking: Penalty of 1/3rd (0.33) marks for every incorrect response in CBT-1 and CBT-2.
• The marks secured in CBT-1 serve as a screening mechanism to filter candidates for CBT-2 and do not add to final merit.
